ReSpOnSe AbIlItY

If you are familiar with self improvement books, you should be aware with the term "Response Ability", your ability to respond to any stimulant there is in your life. You should also be aware that this term is derived from the term "responsibility". Choosing how to respond to a certain stimulant is your responsibility, because it's within your power and ability. Nobody or nothing can make you choose something that you don't want to choose. Even if there is an influence, the decision is yours to make. Ideally, if we are aware of our self, we will be able to make the appropriate choices for every stimulant, choices that will bring advantages for us. Also supposedly, if we are able to make the appropriate choices our life will be happy and successful, because we will be able to make the best out of every situation that we are facing.
The problem is sometime or, even worst, most of the time we don't choose the right response. We tend to incline toward bad choices, bad response. So instead of making the best out of every situation, we make the worst out of it. What to do? All we can do is keep trying to think and analyze every situation that we are in before we make our choices. That way, we can use our "Response Ability" to make the best possible out of every situation.

What is the different between today and yesterday? Today (at the time I'm writing this) is the first day of the New Year, 2006. Yesterday was the last day of last year, 2005. Last night, instead of celebrating it with other people, I chose to stay at home, spending the last hour of last year evaluating my life over 2005. Evaluating what I've done, what I've achieved, what mistakes that I've made, what need to be done, I evaluated almost every aspect of my life. I had never really spent a New Year eve like that, not until last night. I think it's a good way to spend a New Year eve, reflecting over one year period of your life, learning from our life to make an improvement in it.

LoSt....

The sun woke me up
I am soaked with sweat
I just had a nightmare
I try to remember
But I don't remember
What do I remember?
I don't know
Where am I?
I don't know
Why am I here?
I don't know
How long have I been here?
I don’t know
How did I get here?
I don’t know
What do I want?
I don't know
Who am I?
I don't know
What am I?
I.....
Don't......
Know.........

Time flies so fast.
Without me realizing it, it’s been one year I live in this country.

Away from my family.
Away from my friends.
Away from you.
Time flies so fast.
Without me realizing it, so many things I’ve done.
So many things I’ve learned.
So many things happened.
So many places I’ve visited.
So many memories crafted into my head, resided in my subconscious.
Time flies so fast.
Without me realizing it, it’s been one year.

LiFe.........

Life is nothing but a journey. A journey in which, we need to make lots of choices. We, sometime, are happy with the choice that we’ve made and we also, most of the times, regret the choices that we’ve made. From this regret sadness comes, anger comes and we end up in frustration because of this regrets. So what do we need to do to overcome our regrets? A wise man told me once that faith is all you need. Accept whatever outcome you may get from your choice as your destiny and you shall have no regret. Believe that everything happen for a reason. You might not able to understand what the reason is at that very moment, but you will understand that reason after sometimes. Only after we have no regret over any bad choices that we’ve made we can use our free will to make choices that can make our lives better, choices that can fix the result of our bad decision or at least make it better.

DeAr FrIeNdS

There is a time when I really want to be with all my friends that always support me, when all their supporting words and voices are not enough. Because there is nothing that can replace their warm assuring touches and looks, because to me touches mean a lot more than just a thousand words.

When I was jogging on the track I realized the difference between kept looking down watching the track while running with looking up, straight forward, while running. When I was looking down the run felt like forever, it felt like it will never end. But, when I looked up, straight forward the run felt much easier. Why is that, I asked my self. Then, I realized something, when I looked down, all I saw was obstacle, I couldn’t see my destination, I couldn’t see my goal. This make me felt like running in a never ending track, so the run didn’t feel as fun as it suppose to be. On the other hand, when I looked up, straight forward, what I saw was my destination, my goal. I didn’t care about the obstacle, because I could see my goal. This made the run more enjoyable, more fun.
The same thing also happens in our life. If we keep looking at the obstacle that we found a long our way to reach our goals, we will end up overwhelmed by the obstacles and we will feel that life is very hard. Our goals will seem like impossible goals, because all we see is the obstacle not the goals. This will lead us to frustration and we will end up giving up our goals. On the contrary, if we keep our vision straight to our goals, we will feel that life is not as hard as we think it will be. We will be more motivated to reach our goals, because we always remember and look at our goals. We will be able to overcome all the obstacles that we found a long our way and not overwhelmed by them.
So, remember one thing, always remember and look your goals, always concentrate on your goals in every moment. Before you know it, you’ll get them.
